What leaves your browser, why, and what you can choose.

Data you submit

Text searches may be sent to OpenRouter for re-ranking when server AI is enabled. A screenshot is resized—and cropped if you choose—inside your browser, then sent through SayUI to OpenRouter for visual analysis. Optional screenshot hints travel with the image.

Your network address is used to enforce request limits. Do not upload passwords, private messages, customer records, API keys, or other secrets.

Why it is processed

The submitted text or image is used to identify UI patterns and generate a relevant coding prompt. SayUI does not need an account for these tools.

Services involved

  • Vercel hosts the application and provides page-view analytics.
  • OpenRouter processes AI-assisted text requests when configured.
  • Upstash stores short-lived rate-limit counters.

Product analytics events contain action names and small fields such as route, stack, or result slug. The application does not send raw prompt text or screenshot contents in those custom event fields.

Storage and provider terms

The SayUI application code does not write submitted text or screenshots to an application database. Hosting and AI providers may still create operational logs or retain request data under their own settings and terms. SayUI does not claim a deletion window, processing region, training exclusion, or encryption guarantee that has not been independently verified for the active provider configuration.

Your choices and contact

Use local text search without server AI, avoid the screenshot tool, crop out unrelated content, or stop before submission. For a privacy question, contact the project owner on X.
